Day 1

Okay, other than just my regular blog to update what I am up to daily, there is a 30 day blog challenge going around and I thought it would be fun and interesting to try and do.  Every day there is a question you have to answer about yourself.  On day 1, you have to give 20 random facts about yourself.

1. I love Egypt.
2.  My cat means the entire world to me, even if she's a little devil.
3. Yoga is one of my favorite things to do.
4. Linguistics is my favorite.
5. Lord of the Rings will always be my all time favorite movie.
6. Valencia is indescribable.  It is my home away from home and I wouldn't mind living here longer than just 6 months.
7. I love camping. Being in the outdoors is the best.
8. I'm shy until you get to know me, then I can talk your ear off.
9. Learning Arabic is on my bucketlist.
10. I have a secret belief that I was Cleopatra in another life, which one, I don't know. ;)
11. I always feel like if I have to do a job, I need to do it better than what is expected.
12. M&M was my nickname when I was little.
13. I have known my best friend Cortney for 17 years and I know we'll keep being each other's best friend for 17 more years and another and another...
14. I had thought studying abroad in a Middle Eastern country was what I wanted more than to study in Spain, but now that I am here, I can't believe I thought that. I have such a desire to learn about the Spanish culture and language.  I just love it here.
15. I suck at buying groceries.  I always end up buying the most random things that don't mix well at all.
16. If I buy myself something tasty like a chocolate bar, I will eat it the same day. I don't like saving my sweets for another time, they should be enjoyed now. :)
17. Most mornings when I wake up, my hair looks like I've come right out of the 80's.
18. If I put my mind to it, I can be a pretty creative person, therefore, I really love photography, drawing, and painting.
19. I wrote a play in middle school about 2 Jamaican penguins, Ernie and Bernie.
20. When I come home from Spain, I hope to have a better appreciation for myself.
