Language exchange!

Natacha and I decided to go to an intercambio language exchange last night.  It was good! People got to practice their English on us and we got to practice our Spanish and meet new people! I think that is what we will start doing every Sunday night.  Pretty neat I think!

I did end up sitting next to this one guy who would not shut up in Spanish or English...

Oh well...
I think it's funny that the most common thing to find to eat that is cheap and easy are kebabs.  Which we don't really have in the States, especially in Poky.  They're like a middle eastern kind of burrito.  But they are delicious.

I got my Valenbisi to work yesterday too! Yay! Valenbisi is a bicycle system here in Valencia that is pretty sweet.  It makes getting around a lot faster.  Much faster.

Natacha and I had slept Saturday night on my couches thinking that would make us get up early since they aren't very comfortable....yeah, that didn't end up working at all....stupid daylight savings time.

Well general conference is next weekend! Hopefully the weekend after that I get to church, I really want to go.  And now that my Valenbisi works, I'm hoping I'll be able to find a station close to the church so I can just ride a bike there! cause 6 km is a long ways to walk.

I did go on a walk on the Turia yesterday.  It was so nice outside! And spring is in the air, with all the trees beginning to blossom and everything. :) I also watched part of a soccer game going on in one of the fields on the Turia next to my house.  I love watching soccer, it reminds me of watching intramural soccer last semester at random times in the evening at ISU.

I'm off! To see if I can find me some new shoes.  Mine are super gross, and I'm getting tired of only having high heel boots to pick from and tennis shoes.  bah.
